Jenae Eastman (they/them), MA, LMHCA

About:

Transformation is possible. I am here to support you in releasing what no longer serves you and in creating a life centered on what truly matters to you. I believe in your inherent capacity for healing and growth.

My approach is holistic and integrative, blending somatic and body-centered work, mindfulness, values exploration, strengths-based support, art therapy, experiential practices, and cognitive tools to support meaningful change. I work from a liberation-oriented, systemically informed, HAES aligned, and neurodivergent & gender-affirming lens. I am a kink & sex positive practitioner.

I often work with:

  •  complex trauma (CPTSD)
  • relationships of all kinds, including non-normative relationship & family structures & relationships with the more than human world
  • attachment
  • gender & sexuality
  • body image, body and fat acceptance & liberation
  • embracing neurodivergency from a neurotype and neuro-affriming model
  •  anxiety & depression
  • grief

Common experiences I support clients with:

  • patterns you've tried to shift but have been difficult to change

  • challenges in your relationships with others and yourself

  • Intrusive or repetitive thoughts that are hard to turn off

  •  feeling emotionally overwhelmed, shut down and/or having a hard time regulating emotions

  • being hard on yourself, experiencing an inner critical voice, or struggling with self-worth/esteem

  • difficulty understanding your needs and how to navigate those as a neurodivergent person

  • struggling with boundaries & relational communication

  • wanting to access more joy and creativity in your life but find it hard to do so

  • gender exploration

Systemic Lens

I view individual healing as interwoven with collective liberation. It's important to me to honor and acknowledge the many layers of experience that shape a person's life such as gender, disability, class, race and ethnicity, culture, history of colonization and/or immigration, body-size, and systemic oppression as meaningful parts of therapeutic work and healing.

  • IFS supports a person in developing self leadership, which is the ability to support the protective and wounded parts with SELF energy.

  • This can allow a person to be able to live from a place of authenticity in alignment with their values

  •  It can help the protective and wounded parts to have support and healing and to develop new roles that are more in alignment with who a person is.
